Ruimteschip Aarde (Spaceship Earth)
A documentary series that shows the Netherlands and the Earth from space, with André Kuipers.
About the film
What does our planet look like when you see it from a distance? In Ruimteschip Aarde, astronaut André Kuipers and nature experts look at the world and at the Netherlands, including light pollution. Images from space and from nature together show how beautiful and how fragile the Earth is.
The series aired in 2023 on KRO-NCRV, on NPO 1 and NPO Start. In the wildlife unit I filmed the close-up nature footage, as a counterpart to the big picture from space.
