WILD

Wild families at the Veluwe
At the Veluwe, ravens, red deers, foxes and wild boars  are trying to survive in nature, every season, every year. ‘Wild’ the film is meant for the whole family, with André van Duin as narrator.

‘Wild’ the film is about the lives of four young animals: a wild boar, a red deer, a raven and a fox. The animals are filmed all four seasons at the Veluwe, right in the heart of the Netherlands. Within the boundaries of drama and documentary, we see how these charismatic wild animals grow up and try to survive: from birth through adolescence to adulthood. In the end they try to start their own families. André van Duin tells their story, which sometimes looks suspiciously like ours.

The film was shot in 4K resolution and is shown in Cinemascope 1:2.35. For the film, a total of 618 hours of footage was shot with various cameras: the Panasonic Varicam 35, the Panasonic GH4, a Phantom drone, GoPro cameras, Bosch night cameras and a remote-controlled Bradley.
